The Restoration of War Correspondent by SUN Xiangyang——An Analysis of the Attitude of Modern Restoration Towards the Previous Overlays in Works

在油画修复工作中,修复师时常会面对先前覆绘与补色的处理问题。文章试图从历史与理化的角度切入来探究修复师对于覆绘与补色的不同处理态度,并结合实际个案分析讨论对于先前覆绘的处理态度与补色方案。

In this restoration,the biggest issue is the flaking of the paint layer,and it was still deteriorating before the treatment.Restorers have retouched the flaking with oil color many times in the past.These overpainting altered the original image of the painting and some of them covered the original color.This paper studies historical altitudes towards overpainting at different times by comparing and discussing types of overpainting in different situations,in order to find an appropriate treatment for the overpainting in this painting.
