摘要
文学翻译是一种特殊的翻译形式,在翻译过程中译者既要考虑文学作品的艺术性,保留文学作品的美学价值,又具有一定的自由,可以对原作的艺术美进行再创造。正因为这些特殊性,译者需要保留文学作品中广泛存在的文化缺省现象,给予目标语读者更多的想象空间。对于习语翻译中涉及的文化缺省现象,译者可根据缺省的不同类型,采取多样的补偿策略。只有对缺省进行有效的补偿,目标语读者才能更好地理解习语的内涵意义,习语中蕴含的源语文化才能更好地得到传播。
Literature translation is a special form of translation.In the process of translation,translators shall not only take its artistry into consideration and maintain its aesthetic value,but also give their freedom into full play to make some recreations to its aesthetic beauty.Due to such uniqueness,translators shall maintain the cultural defaults in literature,so as to leave readers more freedom for their imagination.Thus,various kinds of compensation strategies shall be adopted for the cultural defaults in idiom translation of literature books according to their types.Only by effectively compensating for the default can the target language readers better understand the connotative meaning of idioms and the smooth spread of source language culture.
