杉木种子园球果采收时间与种子品质的关系

Relationship between Cone Harvest Time and Seed Quality in Chinese Fir Seed Orchard

[目的]研究杉木球果采摘时间与种子品质的关系。[方法]于2007、2009、2011年的10月16、20、24、28日在同一杉木种子园同一小区进行杉木球果的采收,分批处理后进行千粒重、发芽率、育苗对比试验。[结果]10月24日前采收的杉木球果处理出的种子千粒重、发芽率都偏低,苗木生长整体偏弱。[结论]杉木种子园球果最佳采摘时间在10月24日后,若产量较高,采摘时间紧张,可提前至10月20日。

[Objective]The aim of this study was to study relationship between picking time and seed quality of Chinese fir cones.[Method]The fir cones were harvested in the same area of the same fir seed orchard at four time points:October 16,2007,October 20,October 24,and October 28,2007,2009,and 2011.After batch treatment,1000-kernel weight,germination rate,and seedling comparison tests were performed.[Result]The results showed that the 1000-seed weight and germination rate of seeds treated with Cunninghamia lanceolata collected before October 24 were low,and the growth of seedlings was generally weak.[Conclusion]The best time to pick cones in the Chinese fir seed orchard is after October 24.If the yield is high and the picking time is tight,it can be advanced to October 20.
