摘要
在新空口(NR)接入技术中,无线接入网络架构被分割成2种实体:集中式网元(CU)和分布式网元(DU)。认为在这种分离的架构中,通过一个CU控制多个DU的方式,可以同时实现基带集中控制功能和针对用户的远端服务功能。介绍了CU-DU分离架构的基本特性,包括分割方式、接口功能(控制面功能和用户面功能)、移动性场景以及其他CU-DU相关特性和最新进展,为下一代无线接入网络技术研究提供参考。
In New Radio(NR) access technology, the wireless access network architecture is divided into two entities, including Central Unit(CU) and Distributed Unit(DU). In this divided architecture, the baseband centralized control function and the remote users service can be realized simultaneously by controlling multiple DUs through one CU. In this paper, the basic characteristics of the CU-DU architecture, including segmentation methods, interface functions(control plane functions and user plane functions), mobility scenarios, and other related features, as well as their latest progress are introduced, which can be the reference of next generation radio access network.
