文化记忆与文化遗忘的重新界定

Redefining Cultural Memory and Cultural Oblivion

数十年来,当代文化记忆研究在持续产生大量成果的同时,也因为核心概念的术语铺陈和语义过载而饱受诟病。本文以问题为导向,在批判式细读和历时性比较的基础上,对洛特曼式和阿斯曼式文化记忆研究范式进行了一些必要的理论调整,并从几个关键侧面对文化记忆与文化遗忘的概念与分类进行重新界定,为文化记忆与遗忘机制的研究提供新的参考框架。

While contemporary studies of cultural memory have maintained a prolific research output for decades,the field has also come under heavy criticism for the terminological profusion and the semantic overload of its core notions.The present article traces the problems to the Lotmanian and the Assmannian research paradigms of cultural memory studies and,based on critical reading and diachronic comparison,effectuates some necessary theoretical adjustments.In addition,the article redefines the concepts and typologies of cultural memory and cultural oblivion from a few crucial aspects,thus providing a new framework of reference for studies of the mechanisms of cultural memory and cultural oblivion.
