摘要
因其思想鲜明而激进,安·兰德作品的文学性常常被忽略甚至诟病。本文以洛特曼的文化符号学理论为研究方法,从思想性与艺术性的融合、文本意义的编码与解码以及读者阐释的社会语境三个方面,分析兰德代表作《源泉》的文本意义再生机制,指出作品的思想性与艺术性不是相互对立而是相互融合和促进的,并期望引起学术界对其作品的文学性的更多关注和研究。
The literariness of Ayn Rand’s works is often overlooked or even criticized because of Rand’s distinct and radical ideology.Based on the cultural semiotic theory of Lotman,this paper explores text meaning regeneration mechanism in Rand’s masterpiece Fountainhead from such aspects as the combination of ideological content and artistry,coding and decoding of textual meaning and social context of readers’interpretation to elaborate upon the integration rather than contradiction between ideological and artistic quality,hoping to induce more academic attention and research on the literariness of Rand’s works.
