Language is the product of living habits and cultural accumulation,and the culture behind it is very rich,from which we can learn the customs of a nation and region,and English is no exception.In the process of English-Chinese translation,only when translators have a deep understanding of the source language and the cultural connotation behind the target language can they effectively improve the quality and efficiency of translation,thereby effectively promoting the conversion between English and Chinese.This paper analyzes English-Chinese translation strategies and techniques from a cross-cultural perspective,with a view to improving the quality of English-Chinese translation.
