With the continuous change of the external environment and the aggravation of human activities,the problem of the third-party damage of the oil and gas pipeline is increasingly prominent,which poses a severe challenge to the pipeline enterprises.In order to guide the enterprises to effectively prevent and manage the third-party damage,so as to ensure the safe and stable operation of pipelines,the types of current third-party damage of oil and gas pipelines were summarized firstly,then the causes of the third-party damage from multiple perspectives were analyzed,and specific strategies for the prevention and control of the third-party damage were finally provided.
