古代文献中描述冰片独行势弱佐使有功,在心脑血管疾病的防治上应用广泛,历代医家多称之为"佐使"药。内皮衍生的一氧化氮是一种血管舒张因子,具有舒张血管的作用,对心脏功能作用巨大。冰片仅含有微量NO-2,具有强劲的NO生物活性,通过NO-3-NO-2-NO补充途径,在冠心病、高血压等多种心脑血管疾病中血管内皮细胞受损和NOS功能缺陷时具有良好的治疗作用。

In the ancient literature, the description of borneol is weak and effective, and it is widely used in the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases. It was often called "assistant agent" by physicians in past dynasties. Endothelial-derived nitric oxide(ETNO) is a vasodilator which has the function of relaxing blood vessels and has a great effect on cardiac function. Borneol contains only a small amount of NO-2, which has strong NO biological activity. Through the NO-3-NO-2-NO supplementation pathway, it has a good therapeutic effect on vascular endothelial cell damage and NOS function defects in various cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases such as coronary heart disease and hypertension.
