摘要
约翰・厄普代克在《贝奇:一本书》中一改传统现实主义的创作风格,为读者呈现了一本实验派小说。厄普代克用框架式的方法对小说叙事结构进行了实验,在创作中运用元小说叙事策略,采用心理现实主义对人物进行刻画,是对传统现实主义的超越性发展。
Despite his usual realist style,John Updike wrote his Bech:A Book as an experimental novel.This work experiments with narrative structure through framing,mctafictional technique,and psychological realism in characterization,consequently transcending traditional realism.
