摘要
以三元乙丙橡胶(EPDM)/乙烯-辛烯共聚物(POE)/聚丙烯(PP)三元热塑性动态硫化橡胶(TPV)为基材,添加一种新型膨胀型无卤阻燃剂,制备出无卤阻燃EPDM/POE/PP三元TPV复合材料。通过UL94阻燃等级测试评价其阻燃性能,研究阻燃剂用量对其阻燃性能和力学性能的影响,同时考察界面相容剂马来酸酐接枝苯乙烯-乙烯-丁二烯共聚物(SEBS-gM AH)对材料性能的影响。结果标明,随着阻燃剂用量的增加,材料的硬度和密度增大,拉伸强度和断裂伸长率不断减小。当阻燃剂用量≥50 phr时,3. 0 mm和1. 5 mm可达V-0等级;界面相容剂的加入能提高材料的力学性能而不影响阻燃性能;通过对燃烧后的残炭形貌观察得出,该膨胀型阻燃剂对TPV材料具有较好的阻燃效果。
Taking ethylene propylene diene monomer( EPDM)/ethylene otene copolymer( POE)/polypropylene( PP) ternary thermoplastic dynamic vulcanizate( TPV) materials as base materials,the halogen-free flame retardant EPDM/POE/PP TPV composites materials were prepared by adding a new kind of intumescent halogen-free flame retardant. The flame retardancy was evaluated by UL94 flame retardant grade test. And the effect of the contents of halogen-free flame retardant on the flame retardancy and mechanical properties of TPV compounds was studies. At the same time,the effect of interfacial compatilizer maleic anhydride graft styrene-ethylene-butadiene copolymer( SEBS-g-MAH) on the properties of materials was investigated. The results show when the flame retardant contents increase,the hardness and density could increase,the tensile strength and elongation at break could decrease. When the dosage of frame retardants is over 50 phr,the sample with the thinkness 3. 0 mm or 1. 5 mm could achieve V-0. The addition of interfacial compatilizer could improve the mechanical properties of materials,however,it could not affect the frame retardancy. By morphology observation of residual carbon,the intumescent halogen-free flame retardant has good effect on TPV material flame retardant.
