The bending roller cylinder used online in a hot rolling mill has frequent oil leakage with an average life of one month. Based on the analysis of the cause of oil leakage in the cylinder,to found out the design and manufacturing defects of the cylinder seal,piston rod and cylinder barrel,and the corresponding treatment measures are fomated,that improved the online service life of the new cylinder. The extension of life to more than12 months will saving manpower and material resources for enterprises and creating considerable economic benefits.
