This paper mainly introduces the application of project task driven teaching method in engineering practice teaching of chemical engineering and technology specialty. Taking the engineering training of "DCS control ethyl acetate synthesis thermal model test" as an example, the design of project task, implementation plan and procedure, assessment content and method are introduced in detail, and the implementation effect and existing problems of project task driven teaching method in professional training are summarized and analyzed.
