Expression and Clinical Significance of VSTM2L in Prostate Cancer

目的:探究VSTM2L在前列腺癌组织中的表达情况及其与临床病理变量的潜在相关性。方法:采用组织芯片结合免疫组织化学方法检测VSTM2L蛋白在前列腺正常组织、癌旁及癌组织中表达量水平,分析其在前列腺癌中的表达水平与临床病理参数的关系。结果:虽然前列腺癌中VSTM2L蛋白表达水平高于癌旁及正常组织,但是差异无统计学意义(P>0.05);VSTM2L蛋白表达水平与Gleason评分、病理分化程度及年龄相关(P<0.05),与淋巴结转移无关(P>0.05)。结论:VSTM2L可能在前列腺癌的发生发展中发挥重要作用,有望成为前列腺癌治疗的潜在靶点。

Objective:To investigate the expression of VSTM2 L in prostate cancer tissues and its potential correlation with clinicopathological variables.Methods:The expression levels of VSTM2 L protein in normal prostate tissues, adjacent cancer tissues and cancer tissues were detected by immunohistochemical and tissue chip methods, and the relationship between the expression levels of prostate cancer tissues and clinical pathological parameters was analyzed.Results:Although the expression level of VSTM2 L protein in prostate cancer was higher than that of adjacent tissues and normal tissues, the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).The expression level of VSTM2 L protein was correlated with Gleason score, pathological differentiation and age(P<0.05),but was not correlated with lymph node metastasis(P>0.05).Conclusion:VSTM2 L may play a crucial role in the occurrence and development of prostate cancer, and it is expected to become a potential target for prostate cancer treatment.
