党的十八大以来,习近平十分重视运用底线思维,并就此作过一系列论述。底线思维是做最坏打算、争取最好结果的思想方法和工作方法,是防患于未然、牢牢掌握主动权的科学方法。底线思维的核心内容主要包括政治底线、意识形态底线、经济底线、社会底线、生态底线、对外交往底线及党的建设底线。它具有理论和实践双重意义,丰富和发展了马克思主义哲学的方法论,扩展和深化了中国共产党百年历史积淀而成的治理韬略,转化和超越了中国传统文化的思想智慧;为防范化解重大风险、确保完成目标任务、指导治国理政实践提供了科学方法。

Since the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China(CPC), Xi Jinping attaches great importance to the use of Bottom-line Thinking, and has made a series of discussions about it. Bottom-line Thinking is a method of thinking and working to prepare for the worst and strive for the best results. It is a scientific method to nip problems in the bud and firmly grasp the initiative. The core contents of Bottom-line Thinking mainly include the political bottom line, ideological bottom line, economic bottom line, social bottom line, ecological bottom line, bottom line of foreign exchanges and bottom line of party building.
