合作伙伴多元化、外部知识环境特征与企业创新绩效的关系研究

The Impact of Partner Type Diversity and External Knowledge Characteristics on Firm Innovation Performance

本文基于2012~2018年广东省制造业技术创新调查数据,检验了合作伙伴类型多元性与企业创新绩效的关系,以及外部知识环境特征的调节作用。实证结果发现:(1)合作伙伴多样性和相关性与企业创新呈倒U型关系;(2)合作伙伴多样性与相关性共同作用,相比于单独作用,削弱了企业创新绩效,即同时追求高水平合作伙伴多样性和相关性不利于企业创新绩效的提升;(3)外部知识模块化程度对合作伙伴多样性和相关性与创新绩效间的倒U型关系具有调节作用,对多样性为正向调节,而相关性为负向调节效应;(4)外部知识分布范围对合作伙伴多样与创新绩效间的倒U型关系具有正向调节作用,而对合作伙伴相关性与创新绩效间的倒U型关系的调节作用不显著。研究结果对企业联盟组合管理具有一定的借鉴作用。

Based on Guangdong manufacturing technology innovation survey data in 2012~2018,this paper empirically examines the impact of the diversity of partner types on firm innovation performance,and analyzes the moderating effect of external knowledge environment characteristics.The results show that:(1)the variety and relevance of partner type have an inverted U-shaped effect on firm innovation;(2)the joint effect of partner type variety and relevance has weakened firm innovation performance compared to either variety or relevance,that is,pursuing both high variety and high relevance within partner type diversity is not conducive to the improvement of firm innovation performance;(3)the degree of modularity of external knowledge has a moderating effect on the inverted U-shaped relationship between partner type variety and relevance and firm innovation performance,which positively moderates partner type variety and negatively moderates partner type relevance;(4)the scope of external knowledge distribution has a positive moderating effect on the inverted U-shaped relationship between partner type variety and innovation performance,but the moderating effect on the inverted U-shaped relationship between partner type relevance and firm innovation performance is not significant.The research results of this paper have a reference significance for enterprises how to manage alliance portfolio.
