Objective To investigate the relationship of serum alkaline phosphatase(ALP)and lactate dehydrogenase(LDH)with the recurrence and metastasis in patients with breast cancer, and to analyze its correlation. Methods The case-control study was performed. The clinical data of 79 patients with stageⅡ-Ⅳbreast cancer in Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Hospital of Zhongshan University from February 2016 to January 2020 were collected, and all of them were female. The patients were divided into control group(no recurrence and metastasis,40 cases)and observation group(recurrence and metastasis,39 cases)according to whether the patients had recurrence and metastasis. The correlation of newly diagnosed ALP and LDH levels with the recurrence and metastasis in two groups was observed and analyzed. Results The levels of ALP and LDH in observation group were higher than those in control group(P<0.05);The levels of serum ALP and LDH were positively correlated with the recurrence and metastasis of breast cancer(r>0,P<0.05).Conclusion There is correlation between serum ALP and LDH levels and the recurrence and metastasis in breast cancer patients. The detection of changes in serum ALP and LDH levels can indicate whether breast cancer patients have recurrence and metastasis, and effective intervention measures should be taken in time to reduce the risk of prognosis.
