Empathy as an Instinct

当前学界和普通大众虽然对移情非常关注,但对移情的一些重要概念和经验事实的研究却没有充分展开。移情包括两种基本形式:投射性移情和情感性移情。情感性移情源于人的心理本能,是一种更高层次的情感模仿。移情是人类所具有的真正的利他主义本能之一,在培育个体的利他主义过程中能够发挥重要作用。

Although there has been much interest in empathy in academic circles and among general public,some of the most important conceptual/empirical facts about empathy have not previously come to light.There are two basic kinds of empathy:projective empathy and emotional empathy.Emotional empathy is a human instinct,which can be seen as a“higher”form of psychological imitation.Empathy is just one of many non-egoistic instincts or basic desires that human beings are subject to,and plays a crucial ontogenetic role in the launching of individual altruism.
