《河西破蕃贼露布》所见史事探微

Study of Historical Events Recorded in the Notice on the Victory of Defeating Tibetan Aggressors in Hexi

《河西破蕃贼露布》披露了唐玄宗年间唐朝与吐蕃的一次战役,但确切时间未见明载,有待探究。通过考察唐玄宗尊号的行用时间、崔希逸散官品阶的升降变化以及战事亲历者宗羲仲的参战年龄,可知露布所记史事为天宝元年(742)王倕破吐蕃之事。此外,对露布所载唐军征讨吐蕃的会集地点与返师路线深入探讨;进而发现是年唐军向吐蕃发起的河西之战与陇右之役是唐玄宗周密部署的两场战事,两地唐军相互配合策应,共同出击,最终大破吐蕃。

A battle between the Tang Dynasty and the Tibetan Kingdom was announced in the Notice on the Victory of Defeating Tibetan Aggressors in Hexi,however,the exact time of the battle was not mentioned,which needs to be further explored.Through the study of the using time of Emperor Xuanzong of Tang’s honorific title,the rise and fall in Cui Xi-yi’s virtual official rank,and Zong Xi-zhong’s age of going to war as a war witness,it was found that the historic event,recorded on the Notice,happened in the 1st of Tianbao Period of the Tang Dynasty when Wang Chui defeated the Tibetan Kingdom.In addition,a further analysis of the assembling place and the returning route of the Tang troops attacking the Tibetan aggressors,recorded on the Notice,discovered that that year both the Hexi Battle and the Longyou Battle were launched by Emperor Xuanzong of Tang after his careful plotting.Supported by the coordinated actions,the Tang troops at the two different places launched together and eventually defeated the Tibetan aggressors.
