摘要
PTIP蛋白(PAX Transcription activation domain Interacting Protein,PAXIP1)含有6个BRCT结构域和位于蛋白中间的polyQ区域。研究表明PTIP通过控制组蛋白甲基化来调节基因转录且在DNA损伤修复和维持基因组的稳定性中发挥着重要作用。本文对近年来关于PTIP的重要结构域以及其在生物体发育中的重要功能研究进展作一综述。
PAX transcription activation domain interacting protein(PTIP),also known as PAXIP1,has six BRCT domains and a poly Q region.Previous studies have shown that PTIP regulates gene transcription by controlling histone methylation and plays important roles in repairing DNA damage and maintaining the genome stability.Here,we review the recent research progress on the domain of PTIP and its important functions in the development of organisms.
