环境设计:专业共同体与学科定位

ENVIRONMENTAL DESIGN:PROFESSION COMMUNITY AND DISCIPLINE ORIENTATION

环境设计专业共同体是由从事环境设计相关工作、学习、研究人员组成的从业者团体。环境设计专业共同体经历了形成与发展等不同阶段。对专业学科定位的再讨论是凝聚共同体共识,梳理新时期专业发展方向的重要举措。环境设计专业是基于设计学科的"空间设计方向";它有着设计学科共有的"跨学科基因";在空间设计层面,环境设计在物理空间和虚拟空间"虚实共在"。当前,新型冠状病毒肺炎疫情暴露出空间设计方面诸多问题与隐患,能否利用多学科交叉知识探究原因并协作处理,是环境设计学科与专业共同体面临的又一次考验。

Environmental design community consists of people come from environmental design field,includes academic researchers and practicing designers.Environmental design community has already experienced both forming and development phases.It is vital for understanding the role of environmental design in emphasising the common acknowledgement of the community,as well as organising the development strategy at current status.Environmental design is a‘spatial design orientation’based on design principle;a‘cross-disciplinary gene’is embedded in it which is also a shared feature in all majors of design principle;environmental design coexists between physical space and virtual space from a spatial design perspective,which illustrates a characteristic of coexistence of virtual and reality.Currently,there are lots of problems and potential threats of spatial design are exposed by the COVID-19 epidemic.Therefore,the coming challenge for both environmental design discipling and profession community is to take the advantage of researching with cross-discipling knowledge and work cooperatively.
