Discussion on Commemorative Activities of the CYLC in the Period of Democratic Revolution

民主革命时期中国共产主义青年团的发展历程可以划分为四个阶段,它与中国共产党的组织关系也几经调整。青年团举行的纪念活动,主要包括举行纪念集会、刊发纪念文章、发表纪念宣言、提出纪念口号、创作纪念诗歌等形式。这些纪念活动与中国共产党举行的纪念活动有重合之处,而对于李卜克内西、卢森堡、国际青年日、死难青年战士的纪念则是青年团特有的纪念类型。青年团举行的纪念活动起到了强化历史记忆、宣传政治主张、发展组织力量、协调派别关系等政治功能。综观青年团的纪念活动,可以发现中国共产主义运动的诸多面相。

The development of the CYLC in the period of Democratic Revolution can be divided into four stages,and its organizational relationship with the CPC had been adjusted several times.The commemorative activities held by the CYLC mainly included holding commemorative rallies,publishing commemorative articles,issuing commemorative declarations,putting forward commemorative slogans and creating commemorative poems,which coincided with the commemorative activities held by the CPC,but the commemorations of Liebknecht,Luxemburg,International Youth Day and the dead young fighters were the unique type of commemoration of the CYLC。The commemorative activities held by the CYLC played a political role in strengthening historical memory,propagating political opinions,developing organizational strength and coordinating factional relations.Looking back on the commemorative activities of the CYLC,we can find many aspects of the Communist movement in China.
