Objective To observe the anxiety and depression of cancer patients with chemotherapy, and to analyze the influencing factors. Methods 150tumor patients who received chemotherapy in our hospital from February 2016to March 2017were enrolled in the study.Meanwhile,150matched healthy adults who received physical examination in our hospital during the same period were also selected as study controls.Anxiety selfrating scale(SAS)and depression self-rating scale(SDS)were used to assess the anxiety and depression.Student t test and logistic regression were used for data statistical analysis. Results The scores of SAS and SDS of cancer patients with chemotherapy were significantly higher than that of controls(52.75±6.02 vs 28.63±3.48;54.11±5.76 vs 30.15±4.05;t=-42.484,-41.675,P<0.01).Patients who were from rural areas,well-educated,treated at their own expenses, clear about their illnesses and with more than 6 months of chemotherapy had higher scores of SAS and SDS(P<0.05).Multiple stepwise regression analysis showed that payment method and duration of chemotherapy were associated with anxiety and depression of cancer patients. Conclusions Scores of anxiety and depression of cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy are higher, which are greatly influenced by the payment method and the duration of chemotherapy.
