网络表情符号是当前网络社交中一种常用的语言辅助形式,直观、形象、易操作的特点使其自诞生之日起便备受青睐。然而,与文字相比,网络表情符号所建构的表达系统,存在着更多的主观性和模糊性。以网络微笑表情为例,通过分析其人际语用功能及发生机制,探索网络表情符号在现代社会的人际语用意义。

Internet emoticon is a common language-aid caused by the Internet.From the first day appearing in the world,they have been favored for the features like visual images and easy operation.However,compared with words on internet,emoticon system constructed by internet is more subjective and ambiguous.Taking smile expression for example,the paper discussed the interpersonal pragmatic meaning of internet emoticons by analyzing its pragmatic functions as well as mechanism.
