多维解释视角下中国老年人互联网使用的影响因素研究

The Determinants of the Chinese Elderly’s Internet Use from a Multidimensional Perspective

信息化和老龄化正成为当代中国社会转型过程中最突出的时代特征。基于2016年中国老年社会追踪调查数据,从新人力资本、家庭禀赋和宏观机会三个角度构建了中国老年人互联网使用影响因素的本土化解释模型。研究结果发现在新人力资本因素中,受教育水平、收入、健康状况、认知能力和社会适应对老年人互联网使用有显著的正效应。在家庭禀赋因素中,居住地有网络、子女数量越少和空巢的老年人互联网使用可能性更大。在宏观机会因素中,老年人互联网使用受到了所处社会环境的影响,信息化水平越高省份的老年人互联网使用可能性更大。研究结果在一定程度上验证了本土化多维解释模型的适宜性,有利于在新时代背景下推动中国老年群体的数字融入。

Informationization and aging are the most prominent characteristics of the times in Transitional China.Based on data from 2016 China Longitudinal Aging Social Survey,this paper establishes a localized interpretation model of the Chinese elderly’s Internet use.It has three perspectives:new human capital,family endowment and macro-opportunities.The results show that educational level,income,health status,cognitive ability and social adaptation have significant positive effects on the Chinese elderly’s Internet use.The Elderly who have higher education and earning level,are in better health and cognitive ability,have higher social adaptability are more likely to use the Internet.The elderly who have Internet facilities in their places,are with less children and live in empty-nest families are more likely to use the Internet.Macro-opportunity factors also affect the Internet use of the elderly.The elderly living in provinces with higher information level are more likely to use the Internet.The results of the study finally validate the applicability of the localized Internet use of the Chinese elderly. The study is conducive to promoting the digital integration in the context of the New Era.
