Recently,the study of space narration has gradually risen,which provides a new way of the analysis of literary works.Wanton of Snake is one work of the Yomihon named Ugetu Monogatari,which was written in Edo Period in Japan.It tells the story between the rich family’s son Toyoo and a snake demon named Manago.In thisnovel,spatial images carry an important narrative function.The change of space promotes the development of plot.The specific spatial images imply the trend of story development,and the association triggered by spatial images create a unique atmosphere and artistic conception for the work.
