Focusing on cultural factors is the historical choice of curriculum reform and development, and is also the important theme of contemporary curriculum reform.Cultural criticism and adaptation is the theoretical orientation and practical standard which should be followed by curriculum reform. Its essence contains the two kinds of basic connotations:criticism and adaptation.School administrators may clarify the historical basis of curriculum reform by activating participants’critical thinking. The team members may carry out analytical dialogues to coordinate the relationships between the elements of curriculum reform.Besides,we should cultivate the ability of participants’solving problems to practice the criterion of curriculum reform. As well,we should promote collective adaptation to share the significance of curriculum reform.Furthermore,we can construct the cultural ecology of curriculum reform and realize the sustainable development and innovation of school culture.
