The translation of Chinese literature is a long-standing practice with various criticisms. In recent years, there have been heated discussions focusing on the "translator’s subjectivity" in the academic field, including the translation motivation, translation strategy, and the social influence. However, translators are often seen as "individuals". The advantages or disadvantages of mother tongue are emphasized;the studies on translators and cooperation are ignored, and there is a lack of the research on the amalgamation, complementarity, and innovation among translators during the process. The periodical on Japanese translation, Tomoshibi, provides new ideas for related fields and examples for the research on the translator’s subjectivity by tentative practices of translation. The mode of China-Japan cooperation led by China can also be used in the translation to propel the spread of Chinese literature overseas.
