Rubbings Maker Li Yuncong and His Achievements of Stone Inscriptions and Rubbings in the Late Qing Dynasty

李云从在碑帖业中颇负名气,为搜集保存北方地区碑拓文献作出了较大的贡献。文章从善于搜访、精于垂拓、利于交易三方面来综述李云从的碑拓成就。

Li Yuncong was well-known in the inscription industry and made great contributions to the collection and preservation of the rubbings documents in the north of China.This paper summarizes Li Yuncong's achievements in stone inscriptions and rubbings from three aspects:being good at searching and visiting,being proficient in making rubbings and facilitating transaction.
