In the era of Industry 4.0,media literacy has become an indispensable new literacy requirement for teachers engaged in modern vocational education,because it has become a basic ability of modern society that promotes lifelong learning.Based on the new era,this article explores the new concept of media competence in vocational education,and proposes that the vocational school teachers’media competence improvement,government support is the prerequisite,school attention is the guarantee,teacher self-development is the soul,and it is inseparable from the entire education system collaboration.
