In the modern society,the map is closely related to our life.At the same time,the aesthetics and practicality of the map are very important.Starting with art design,this paper discusses how to achieve the scientific collocation of signs and color based on the different purposes,and then express the topic contents of maps.This paper presents how to improve the artistic quality of map design from five aspects,which provides references for map designers.
