读者反应论视域下的文学翻译——以《红高粱》英译为例

Application of Reader Response Theory in Literary Translation:A Case Study of English Translation of Red Sorghum

东学西渐的新时代的大背景下,莫言获得诺贝尔文学奖后,其作品的主要英语译者葛浩文也随之广受关注。以尤金 奈达的读者反应论为指导,对葛浩文的《红高粱》英译本做具体分析,阐释了其对文学翻译的指导意义,以期对中国文学的跨文化传播提供参考性意见。

After Mo Yan’s winning the Nobel Prize for literature,the main English translator of his works,Howard Goldblatt,has garnered much more attention in the new era of dissemination of oriental learning.In this study,the authors make a detailed analysis of Howard Goldblatt’s English version of Red Sorghum on the guidance of Eugene Nida’s reader response theory as well as explain the guiding significance of the theory to literary translation.
