Foreign Direct Investment,Regional Innovation and Industrial Structure Change

文章基于2000-2017年中国30个省际面板数据,在测度产业结构合理化和产业结构高级化的基础上,构建动态面板模型实证分析外商直接投资、区域创新对产业结构变迁的总体效应,并进一步分析经济危机前后的效应,在考虑我国区域发展不平衡不充分的现状下进行分样本的异质性分析。研究结果表明:外商直接投资与区域创新均促进产业结构合理化与高级化,两者交乘项对产业结构合理化起到阻碍作用,但促进了产业结构高级化;相对于经济危机前,经济危机后外商直接投资对产业结构合理化与高级化的促进作用减弱,区域创新能力对产业结构合理化与高级化的拉动作用增强;就分样本的异质性分析而言,外商直接投资与区域创新对产业结构变迁存在区域差异。基于以上结论,提出促进我国产业结构变迁的建议。

Based on the data of 30 provinces in China from 2000 to 2017 and the rationalization of industrial structure and the advanced industrial structure,this paper constructs a dynamic panel model to empirically analyze the overall effect of foreign direct investment and regional innovation on industrial structure changes,and further analyze the effects before and after the economic crisis.Meanwhile,the heterogeneity analysis of the sample is carried out under the current situation of considering the imbalance of regional development in China.The results show that both foreign direct investment and regional innovation promote the rationalization and upgrading of industrial structure,but the intercourses of the two have hindered the rationalization of industrial structure and promoted the advanced industrial structure;compared with before the economic crisis,the role of foreign direct investment in the rationalization and upgrading of industrial structure began to weaken after the economic crisis,and the regional innovation ability enhanced the rationalization and upgrading of industrial structure;as far as the heterogeneity analysis of samples is concerned,there are regional differences between FDI and regional innovation in industrial structure changes.Based on the above conclusions,proposals for promoting the changes of China’s industrial structure are proposed.
