The Complex Dynamic Systems Theory and Second Language Pragmatic Development Research

本文通过介绍复杂动态系统理论的基本概念和原则,分析二语语用研究领域近年来采用的理论解释力和透视力的缺陷,从而论述二语语用研究应该纳入复杂动态系统理论视野的必要性和可行性。基于此,文章尝试提出语用发展研究的复杂建构,勾勒未来研究图景,为二语语用学界提供了四个具体的未来研究方向。

In light of the key concepts and principles of the complex dynamic systems theory in the field of applied linguistics,this paper argues that second language pragmatics research lacks theoretical and interpretive adequacy.Therefore,the paper argues for the necessity and practicality of employing a complex dynamic lens into the field. The paper proposes a model that incorporates the complex dynamic perspective into second language pragmatic development research,and outlines four specific directions for future research in the field.
