Comparison of Technical Requirements and Test Methods Between LTE-R and GSM-R Terminal Equipments

铁路数字移动通信系统(GSM-R)主要承载话音业务,数据业务少、数据速率低,发展铁路宽带移动通信系统(LTE-R)已是大势所趋。概述GSM-R和LTE-R系统结构以及2种系统的差异。从功能及业务、性能、环境要求3个方面,对比分析LTE-R和GSM-R终端设备技术要求和检测方法,指出2种系统由于技术要求和实现方式不同,终端设备测试方法存在较大差异。

The railway digital mobile communication system(GSM-R)mainly carries voice service,with little da⁃ta service and low data rate,so the development of Railway broadband mobile communication system(LTE-R)is an inevitable trend.It introduces the structure and differences of the two systems.This paper compares and analyzes the technical requirements and detection methods of LTE-R and GSM-R terminal devices from the aspects of func⁃tion,business,performance and environmental requirements,and points out that the testing methods of terminal devic⁃es are quite different due to the different technical requirements and implementation modes of the two systems.
