This paper comprehensively applies the thinking method of quality management system to analyze the op⁃erating environment and repair&maintenance process of railway freight cars.It determines the objectives and key points of quality control,defines the basic ideas and methods of quality control and make them organized and system⁃atic.In order to establish and improve the quality system,it provides train of thought,which is of great guiding signifi⁃cance for the railway freight car repair&maintenance organizations to standardize quality management and improve quality in practice which leads to safety.
