The Impact of Historical Nihilism on College Students in the New Era

历史虚无主义以其传播的隐秘性、伪善性、"普世性""客观性"对大学生造成了极其严重的影响。而社会价值观念多元化、西方"和平演变"网络化和部分大学生唯物史观缺位等给历史虚无主义在新时代的恣意传播提供了条件。面对历史虚无主义的渗透,必须全社会通力协作,媒体工作者要自觉担当时代责任讲好中国故事,高校思想政治工作在创新中加强以守好政治底线,新时代大学生要恪守"四个自信"以筑牢唯物史观,方能取得阶段性的胜利。

In recent years,China has made gratifying achievements in ideological work.However,as China enters a new era,various trends of thought,especially historical nihilism,tend to intensify.It is said the deprivation of history destroys a country.Historical nihilism has had a very severe impact on college students with its secrecy,hypocrisy,and the so-called universality and objectivity.It disseminates mainly in three covert ways,including giving false accounts of historical figures,distorting history of the Communist Party of China and universalizing the dark side of contemporary society.The diversification of social values,the“peaceful evolution”of the West and the students’lack of historical materialism provide conditions for the unlimited dissemination of historical nihilism in the new era.Faced with the infiltration of historical nihilism,the whole society must cooperate.Media should consciously shoulder the responsibility and tell Chinese stories well,ideological and political work in colleges and universities should be strengthened with innovations to keep the political bottom line,and college students should maintain confidence in the path,theory,system,and culture of socialism with Chinese characteristics in order to build up a firm materialist concept of history.Only in this way can we achieve a phased victory.
