MicroRNA(miRNA)is a kind of non-coding single-stranded RNA,which is ubiquitous in eukaryotes and involved in almost all physiological and pathological processes of the body. The altered miRNA expression is often closely related to human diseases.Increasing evidence proved that miRNAs are abnormally expressed in tumor microenvironment. In the tumor microenvironment,miRNAs which are both expressed by immune cells and tumor cells adjust the immune response by regulating the differentiation, proliferation, apoptosis and function of immune cells, thus affecting the development of tumors. The inhibition of tumor microenvironment on immune response is a major obstacle to overcome in the clinical tumor immunotherapy, and the research of the regulation mechanism of miRNA on immune cells in tumor microenvironment makes the discovery of new targets for tumor immunotherapy possible.
