In the operation of substation equipment is prone to heating fault which may cause adverse impact on the safety of the power system operation,so it is required to take effective measures in a timely manner.In this regard,this article first introduces the harm of substation electrical equipment heating failure,then analyzes the fever of electric equipment for substation fault diagnosis method,and the substation electrical equipment malfunction causes fever and treatment measures in details,in order to enhance the level of electric power system maintenance,to ensure the stability of power system operation.
