With the further development of economic globalization and reform and opening-up,English has been given even more attention in our county,which requires English learners not only to acquire professional knowledge,but also to be able to apply these knowledge flexibly.In this environment,colleges should pay more attention to the teaching of English translation,and reform and innovate the teaching of English translation in order to cultivate students’English application ability,so as to train more high-quality talents for the society.The teaching of college English translation should carry out strategic innovation for cultivating students’English application ability.
