On Feminist Marginalization from“Schema”——An Analysis of Feminist Thoughts in The House of Jacob

《雅各布之屋》中,以雅各布为主线串联起众多情感线索,以时空等提示物加以勾连“图式”或“格局”。从无私奉献的家庭主妇,被动无奈的未婚女性和缺失自由的贵妇等不同维度透视了女性的边缘化地位,表达了伍尔夫希望女性敢于说出内心想法,成为独立自由个体,从而构建女性自我意识的美好愿望。

Woolf takes Jacob as the main line in his novel The House of Jacob,and connects many emotional clues with reminders of time and space like“schemes”or“patterns”.Feminist marginalization can be reflected from different dimensions,such as selflessly dedicated housewives,passive and helpless unmarried women,confined noble ladies,etc.Woolf expresses her good wishes in the novel that women should dare to speak their inner thoughts and become independent and free individuals,and thus construct female self-awareness.
