轮状病毒病毒样颗粒疫苗的研究进展 被引量:2

Progress in research on virus-like particles as rotavirus vaccine

摘要 轮状病毒(rotavirus,RV)是全球范围内导致5岁以下婴幼儿严重腹泻的主要病原体,造成了巨大的经济和社会负担。目前,疫苗预防接种是控制RV感染最有效的手段,但目前已上市RV疫苗的有效性较低,且会增加肠套叠的风险。病毒样颗粒(VLP)在构象上与亲本病毒相似,具有高度免疫原性,且不存在毒力回复突变等风险。RV-VLP疫苗不仅能够刺激细胞和体液免疫反应,而且能提供更好的血清型覆盖。因此,RV-VLP疫苗作为下一代候选疫苗具有巨大的潜力。 Rotavirus(RV)is the main pathogen causing severe diarrhea in infants and young children under 5 years of age worldwide,resulting in huge economic and social burdens.At present,vaccination is the most effective measure to control RV infection.However,the commercial RV vaccines are associated with lower effectiveness and increased risk of intussusception.Virus-like particles(VLPs)are similar in conformation to the parental virus and are highly immunogenic with no risk of virulence back mutations.The VLPs as RV vaccine(RV-VLP)can not only stimulate cellular and humoral immune responses,but also provide better serotype coverage.Therefore,RV-VLP have a great potential as next-generation of vaccine candidates.
