数字经济驱动创新效应研究——基于省际面板数据的回归

Research on the Effect of Digital Economy on Upgrading Innovation Capacity--Based on Provincial-Level Panel Data

基于2013~2018年中国省际面板数据构建数字经济发展水平评价体系,并采用固定效应模型对数字经济是否促进了创新进行了回归估计。研究表明,数字经济发展促进了创新能力提升,但其潜力尚未充分发挥。在对数字经济不同发展阶段的分组回归中发现,数字经济水平高的地区创新所受影响也越大。鉴于此,应全面推动数字经济量质齐升,各区域应立足自身实际精准施策,在推进新型基础设施建设的同时,主攻新型数字技术与当地制造业的融合,缩小地区发展差异,最终建设"创新型国家"。

Based on provincial panel data from 2013 to 2017, the paper sets up a framework to evaluate the development of digital economy, and investigates the impact of digital economy on innovation capacity in China with fixed effect model. The findings show that digital economy reinforces the capability of innovation, however full play is not exerted yet. By group regression, digital economy is found to have a bigger impact on innovation in regions with high-level digital economy. The paper suggests that governments promote the overall development of digital economy, promote the construction of new infrastructure to better develop digital economy, and focus on the digitalization of local manufacturing industries to narrow the regional gap and build an innovation-oriented nation.
