Traditional Chinese Medicine under the Trend of System Biology

系统生物学强调的整体思想与中医的"整体观""辨证论治"有着异曲同工之妙,运用系统生物学方法研究疾病生物学状态的动态变化、方剂有效成分所对应的基因和蛋白质作用靶点,并根据功能基因的表达决定疾病在不同阶段的不同表型以及不同疾病中关键蛋白及通路的作用,可以更好地阐释同病异治、异病同治的思想内涵;同时分析不同有效成分对应基因及蛋白质靶点的相互作用,揭示各组成单药之间的分子生物学关系,阐明中药方剂的配伍机理,显示出了现代科学与中医药学结合的优势,使得中医药现代化的研究更加合理、完善,为中医药辨证哲学思想的继承和发展带来新的机遇。

The overall thought emphasized by system biology is similar to the"holistic view"of TCM and"dialectical treat-ment".It uses systemic biology methods to study the dynamic changes of the biological state of disease,the target of genes and proteins corresponding to the active ingredients of prescriptions,and according to the expression of functional genes,the different phenotypes of diseases at different stages and the role of key proteins and pathways in different diseases can better explain the ide-ological connotation of"different treatments for the same disease"and"same treatment for different diseases";simultaneously,analyze the interaction of the genes and proteins of different active ingredients reveals the molecular biological relationship between the individual components and clarifies the compatibility mechanism of the traditional Chinese medicine prescription,which shows the advantages of the combination of modern science and traditional Chinese medicine,making the research of modernization of traditional Chinese medicine more reasonable and perfect.The inheritance and development of dialectical philosophy of Chinese medicine ushered in new opportunities.
