A Summary of the Summit Forum on"Thirty Years of Chinese Public Art"at Shantou University

"中国公共艺术三十年"高峰论坛于2019年12月7日在汕头大学举行,论坛回顾了三十年来中国公共艺术的发展。公共艺术不仅仅是一个作品,更是一个系统,与会专家、学者从艺术实践、政府机制、传播机制、学理研究以及公共艺术发展的新动向及其所面临的问题等各个方面全面梳理中国公共艺术的发展历程,并对未来公共艺术的发展提出了建设性的意见和建议。

The Summit Forum on"Thirty Years of Chinese Public Art"is held at Shantou University on December 7,2019.The forum has reviewed the developing process of the public art over the past three decades in China.Public art does not only refer to a certain piece of work,but also a system.The experts and scholars look back at the development of Chinese public art comprehensively from various aspects,such as art practice,government mechanism,communication mechanism,academic research,new trends and problems of public art development.Many constructive opinions and suggestions are provided for the future development of public art.
