迷失与解脱:浅谈《儒林外史》举业崇拜下的士人生态

Loss and Liberation:Scholars’Ecology under Worship of Scholars’Career in The Scholars

《儒林外史》展示了当时士大夫阶层、女性和底层百姓迷失于举业崇拜之中的现状,表现了举业崇拜下士人的精神围困和人生百态。吴敬梓用深沉、痛惜的笔触,描绘八股举业对于士人的戕害,同时又刻画了一批有品行,有追求的真名士和真儒生。通过对比,为士人如何走出迷失,挣脱八股举业的束缚,寻求一道精神解脱的良方。

The Scholars shows the status quo,that the class of the literati and officialdom,women and the people at the bottom of the class have been lost in the worship of the scholars’career,and that the scholars’spiritual siege and the vicissitudes of lives under the worship of the scholars.Wu Jingzi,with a deep and deplored brushwork,depicts Eight-part Essay’serious harm to the scholars,and at the same time,depicts a group of real celebrities and real scholars with moral character and pursuit.By contrast,he is always seeking a good way for scholars to get out of being lost,break the shackles of Eight-part Essay and find a spiritual liberation.
