清末小说《缙绅镜》文体考辨

Textual Research on the Style of the Mirror of the Gentry in the Late Qing Dynasty

从叙事规范、情节安排及小说主旨三个角度对清末谴责小说《缙绅镜》进行考辨,发现叙事超出了日记体应有的视角限制,情节安排有诸多不合理之处,主旨为暴露和批判清末缙绅阶层的腐败。基于上述考辨,认为《缙绅镜》应属于国人自创的谴责小说,并非译自德人日记。

This paper makes a textual research on the Mirror of the Gentry in the late Qing Dynasty from the perspectives of narrative norm,plot arrangement and the theme of the novel.It holds that the narrative of the novel goes beyond the limitation of the diary style,there are many irrationalities in the plot arrangement,and the theme of the novel is to expose and criticize the corruption of the Chinese gentry.Based on these textual researches,it believes that the Mirror of the Gentry should belong to the condemnation novel created by the Chinese,not be translated from the German diary.
