精神科医护人员对代谢综合征相关知识知晓率的调查

A Cross-sectional Study on Health Knowledge About Metabolic Syndrome in Psychiatrists and Nurses

目的本研究旨在了解承担重要医疗护理任务的精神科医护人员对代谢综合征(metabolic syndrome,MS)相关知识的知晓情况。方法本次横断面调查开展于2019年8月—2019年12月,两家精神病专科医院共有104名临床精神科医护人员接受调查,以自拟调查问卷询问相关资料,获得有效问卷98人,然后对调查结果进行描述性分析和比较分析。结果全部医护人员对MS相关知识知晓率为17.1%,医生组、护士组分别为29.6%与11.6%,组间差异存在显著统计学意义(χ^2=38.07,P=0.000)。在总共8个调查条目中,医师组在MS定义、精神分裂症高发MS的可能机制、诊断标准、严重后果及防治等相关知识的知晓率均≤30%,而护理组在所有调查条目的知晓率均≤30%。结论临床精神科医护人员对MS相关知识的知晓情况均不乐观。鉴于精神分裂症患者合并MS的严峻形势,有必要加强相关临床知识学习。

Objective Psychiatrists and nurses are responsible for medical treatment and nursing care for patients with psychosis,and here we aim to estimate how well they had the knowledge about metabolic syndrome(MS).Methods From August 2019 to December 2019,a cross-sectional survey was carried out in 2 psychiatric hospitals in Fuzhou,and a total of 30 doctors and 68 nurses finished our investigation.We assessed the awareness rates of their knowledge about MS using a self-designed,8-items questionnaire,then a descriptive analysis followed by a comparative analysis was made.Results They had an average awareness rate of 17.1%.There were significantly different acquirement rates of MS-related knowledge between the pychiatrists and the nurses(29.6%vs.11.6%,χ^2=38.07,P=0.000).The pychiatrists gained mean awareness rates of≤30%in the questions such as definition of MS,underlying mechanisms of schizophrenia with high risk of MS comorbidity,diagnostic criteria for MS,severe sequelae of MS,and preventing and controlling measures for MS,while the nurses got awareness rates of≤30%across all the questions.Conclusion Psychiatrists and nurses should have been well knowledgeable of MS in the current grim situation of high MS prevalence in patients with schizophrenia,but our survey might reveal that the fact is out of optimism.It would remind the necessity to strengthen the clinical knowledge about MS among our psychiatric workers.
