乌兹别克斯坦与塔吉克斯坦关系以乌国总统卡里莫夫逝世为分界点。在“卡里莫夫时期”,两国因阿姆河水资源利用矛盾致使彼此关系相当僵化;卡里莫夫逝世后,新总统米尔济约耶夫开启外交新政策,乌兹别克斯坦与塔吉克斯坦关系进入快速调整期,在较短时间内一揽子解决了多年来积聚下的很多矛盾,尤其是两国战略伙伴关系的建立将两国关系推向历史最佳阶段,开辟了两国关系新时代。乌兹别克斯坦与塔吉克斯坦关系改善的积极影响不仅仅局限于乌塔两国双边关系,对中亚区域国际关系都将产生重要的正面影响,并将推动中亚地区地缘经济政治关系进入新的时期。

The dividing point of the relationship between Uzbekistan and Tajikistan is the death of President Karimov.During the administration of Karimov,the intricate contradictions between the two countries led to a rather rigid relationship.After Karimov's death,the new president Mirziyoev opened a new diplomatic policy,and the relations between Uzbekistan and Tajikistan entered a period of rapid adjustment.In a short period of time,basically solved the conflicts accumulated over many years.In particular,the establishment of the strategic partnership between the two countries has pushed the relationship between the two countries to the best of its history and opened up a new era of bilateral relations.The positive impact of the improvement of relations between Uzbekistan and Tajikistan is not limited to bilateral relations between the two countries.It will have important positive effects on the regional international relations in Central Asia and will promote the entry into a new era of geopolitical relations in Central Asia.
