Policies of Taiwan Minority Women in Qing Dynasty

清代台湾少数民族妇女群体有独特的民族个性,清政府对她们实行了特殊的保护、教化政策。如清政府一度实行禁止台湾少数民族女性与汉族男性通婚的政策,树立台湾少数民族妇女"道德模范",改革台湾少数民族妇女的赋税制度等。这些政策体现了清政府对台湾少数民族的治理发展逐步完善,加速了台湾少数民族的汉化,促进了台湾的族群融合,也促进了台湾社会的发展,特别是台湾少数民族地区的开发。

In Qing Dynasty,Taiwan minority women had their own unique ethnic characteristics.Qing Government carried out special policies of protection and education for them.For example,Qing Government once banned intermarriage between minority women and Han males in Taiwan.And Qing Government set up"moral models"for minority women in Taiwan.The tax on minority women in Taiwan was also reformed.The implementation of these policies indicated that Qing Government gradually developed and improved its administration of Taiwan minorities.They had accelerated the chinesization of Taiwan minorities,promoted the integration of ethnic groups in Taiwan,and advanced the development of Taiwan society,especially the development of Taiwan minority areas.
